2023 TOP MATRICULANTS

This is a summary of our 2023 IEB Matric results:

• 38 students wrote the IEB Examinations
• 100% pass rate
• All students qualify for tertiary studies
• 83 distinctions overall
• 2.1 distinctions per candidate
• Lerato Chomba was placed in the top 5% on the IEB outstanding list in 6 or more subjects, in addition to this, she was placed in the top 1% for English, IT, Life Orientation and Mathematics.

 

2022 TOP MATRICULANTS

This is a summary of our 2022 IEB Matric results:

• 36 students wrote the IEB Examinations
• 100% pass
• 100% University Degree entrance
• All students qualify for tertiary studies
• All subject averages above 65%
• All subject averages above the IEB National averages
• 2 students placed in the top IEB Commendable and Outstanding Achievement lists
• 78 distinctions overall
• 2.16 distinctions per candidate

 

 

2021 TOP MATRICULANTS

This is a summary of our 2021 IEB Matric results:

• 46 candidates
• 100% pass and 100% University degree entrance
• Assumption Convent School Matric subject averages were equal or above the IEB national Matric subject averages
• 66% of all subject grades were with distinction (80% plus) or B symbols (70-80%) this equates to 2.4 distinctions per candidate

 

2020 TOP MATRICULANTS

This is a summary of our 2020 IEB Matric results:

• 35 candidates
• 100% pass and 100% University degree entrance
• Assumption Convent School Matric subject averages were equal or above the IEB national Matric subject averages
• 66% of all subject grades were with distinction (80% plus) or B symbols (70-80%) this equates to 2.3 distinctions per candidate

2019 TOP MATRICULANTS

This is a summary of our 2019 IEB matric results:

• 49 candidates
• 100% pass and 98% university exemption
• Assumption Convent School matric subject averages all equal to or above IEB national matric subject averages
• 29.2% of all subject grades were distinctions; a further 28.4% of all subject grades were within the 70-80% B grade range
• Olivia Wood – 9 Distinctions made it onto the IEB outstanding achievements list, having achieved in the top 5% in 6 or more subjects.

This is a summary of our 2018 IEB matric results:

• 44 candidates
• 100% pass and 100% university exemption
• Overall 2,2 distinctions per candidate
• Overall 2,5 ‘B’ symbols (70 – 79%) per candidate
• Assumption Convent School matric subject averages all above IEB national matric subject averages

 

 

2017 TOP MATRICULANTS

Assumption Convent School congratulates its 46 Matric candidates. Assumption Convent once again achieved a 100% pass rate and a 100% University exemption. We are very proud of all our Matrics, Well done ladies!

2015 TOP MATRICULANTS

We congratulate our 48 Matriculants who achieved 100% pass and 95% university exemption and an average of 2 distinctions per pupil. The Assumption Convent subject averages compare very favourably with the IEB subject averages.

 

2014 TOP MATRICULANTS

We congratulate our 49 Matriculants who achieved 100% pass and 98% University Exemption. Our overall averages in the subjects written in Matric 2014 were all above the IEB subject averages.
